contact lens solution

I went to buy some contact lens all in one solution at Tesco's today, and was shocked to find that it cost £5.17!!! Last time I got it on a BOGOF offer for about £2 each, if I remember right, and got quite a few.
Checked Sainsbury, Boots etc, and they are all very expensive (and makes me wonder what the mark-up must be.....:mad:)

Any tips on what are the best places to buy it (tried a couple of searches but could not find anything recent here specifically about solution)?

Superdrug tend to have more offers on contact lense solution than other places - alternatively have you tried your actual opticians?

I checked SD, but their normal price is £9.99 for 360ml, it's 2 for £13, even if it was BOGOF it would still be very expensive (one would think it's made of liquid gold...)

Have you got a bigger Asda near you? When I used monthlies I always bought their cheapest contact lense solution, sainsbury's had one too..
If you search Asda Saline solution on their website it's showing as £1.97:)

Unfortunately it's not the saline solution I'm after, but the all in one solution. According to mySupermarket sainsbury's is the same price as Tesco £5.17 (odd number...coincidence or price fixing...), Asda's is slightly less but still £4.87.

it is if buying in bulk. i try different search variations of the name/brand. for some reason not everything under eye care shows up on standard search.

Tescos contact lense solution 250ml all in one is now going for £3.50.That's a steal of a deal.
