I want to discuss a money making possibility with you guy's, i guess were all familiar with fiverr.com, if so, did you know you can make money by not just posting gig's and answering gig request's but by buying a gig then reselling it? Allow me to explain, businesses will pay triple the amount for half of the things selling on fiverr - such as SEO services. It's worth looking into. Has anyone done this before, if so how much did you sell for?

  • Not exactly. But, yes, Fiverr is sometimes useful for quick/small graphics work. I'm not really into graphic design myself so it's sometimes easier to ask someone else to do it.

However, regarding SEO services outside Fiverr... I'd have thought it's worth more than about 9 quid! ;) (Based on conversion rates plus Paypal fees - a Fiverr gig pays about the same as a cup of coffee shop java.)

Yep its been done a lot - your problem for one, would be ranking for it to begin with (given the competition).

And using SE Nuke/ doing some SBM is hardly 'SEO' but that's another matter :)

Yes, the arbitrage side of Fiverr is alive and kicking, as I get people wanting a particular service and then, pass it on to their customers for a quick mark up. I don't particularly like this, but that's the nature of this business and why their website has grown rapidly in the last couple of years.

I have had nothing but problems with buying Fiverr services. Very low quality and rushed work (whether it be design related or SEO for example). Which makes sense given the $5 fee

There are all manner of problems here. Time contraints etc..

Yeah, it's sort of hit-and-miss. You need to find the ones who are doing it to bulk out their portfolio. Of course, the downside is they don't stick around for long. Once you have a solid portfolio, why would you want to sell your services for no more than a cup of coffee? ;)

It depends how quickly you can do each task. If it's an automated service then, it's minimal and you can make a steady income, but if it's taking more than half an hour then, you'll only become a busy fool and be working for less than the minimum wage.

It's a good place for both buyers and sellers and if you find the right products to buy or sell, fiverr is a superb platform.
