Crafting Group in Greater Manchester

Im over in North-West manchester and I would be very interested in some sort of crafting group! I know of specific knitting groups in Salford (Kings Arms pub on a Monday night) and Manchester city centre (Purl City yarns shop in Northern Quarter - not sure about days). But a generic crafty one would be cool!

Hobbycraft stores usually have space and are happy to accommodate groups in my experience

I am also in Salford, if there was a crafting group I would be interested - as a beginner if you don't mind teaching me! Not keen on knitting, have tried it in the past and well wasn't very good! :-)

Learning to save you must be near me. I've been going to courses round here to learn skills. Not great at anything but persevereing! X

did you find any craft classes in north manchester ? I am very keen but there doesnt seem to be anything around here. I work during the day so evenings would be best for me. I know about purl city yarns etc:)
