Personal Trainer

Hello All,
I've started attending the gym regularly(4-5) times per week over the last 9 months. I feel it has been making a difference but I feel I could be getting more out of my sessions. Currently focus on core exercises e.g. deadlifts, squats, military presses, bench. I have put on about 10 pounds of muscle currently 213 pounds and 6 ft 3 so not huge. I feel I could be getting more out of my sessions.
Question is should I invest in some Personal Training and in you're experience are they good value for money.
Thanks

I have used a personal trainer at home for 12 months. I pay in 10 week blocks and after each block I have a few weeks off to see if I can be disciplined enough to carry on by myself - the answer is no!!! :j:j
I my opinion there is a lot you can learn from a good trainer.
Perhaps you could ask for a trial session and see what you think:)0 -
Having a personal trainer has been the making of my fitness regime! I was doing cardio-vascular work and she has switched me to weight training and revolutionised the way I eat. She makes sure I work really hard, absolutely to the limit, if I am on my own I tend not to work quite that hard and also tend to skip or go light on the exercises I really hate (tricep dips and foot taps mainly). It's been well worth the expense.'Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.' T S Eliot0
