Hi
I have received a couple of calls from the "pension review line" apparently a free service to help review your current pension on how it's performing and giving advice by an ifa?
Has anyone had any dealings? I'm reluctant as I have no idea about pensions and don't want to sign up to anything. They say no obligation but will send a courier to get copies of policies, passport/driving license etc?.. Is this company reliable?
Any advice would be good
Thanks

I think it's safe to assume that legitimate IFA's do not cold call, so I suggest you avoid.
If you want some help with your pensions (or anything else financial) visit: https://www.unbiased.co.uk to find a local IFA.0 -
Thank you I will have a look.
I did think possibly too good to be true when they said they can look at changing my pension to almost triple what it could be worth!0 -
You really have to ask?0

I know I'm a bit naive when it comes to this sort of thing, I really have no clue when it comes to pensions. I set mine up 13 years ago and didn't have a clue then if it was the best one to go for lol.0

Well whether it is pensions or whatever else anyone that cold calls and promises you things that are just too good to be true willing to courier copies of your identification - safe to assume they are not going to be working for your best interests0
