In a face to face meeting where it’s your task to present why ( this recruitment company) should be the number one recruitment partner.

We are looking for you to collate any information you have or can find.

We ‘as the client’ are looking for a proven partner who can deliver 3 critical hires in a set timescales, on time, within budget , control costs, and more importantly finding outstanding candidates from our competitors.

The critical hires are for a new team of IT Outsourcing sales professionals.

We will be representing a company called Atos

We would like you to demonstrate your knowledge of the market and the source area you would recommend to target to attract potential candidates to come and work for Atos. Demonstrate my knowledge of what market? Atos' competitors?

We are looking for you to understand who they compete with and why we should use (this agency) and not one of the other 3 companies we are using.Who they compete with?

Please prepare a 10 to 15 min presentation with question to follow.Does this mean I should prepare a question? or is it a typing error and should say "questions to follow"

You can use our white board, bring a paper presentation or PowerPoint.

Im a little puzzled by the language used in this e-mail and any help from anyone with experience in this sort of thing would be awesome (:

I've been out of recruitment for a very long time so hope this helps...

A recruitment consultant is a sales role, so you want the presentation to be very sales focused.

Atos are the client - guess in today's IT recruitment climate they are a pretty important client so this pitch is a big one. Their IT clients are typically large public or blue chip organisations so issues like quality of process, calibre of candidate and rapidity of response will be critical.

To do this, you have to understand the client - their needs and requirements. Candidates will have to match the job spec pretty exactly in order to minimise any wasting of time or money.

How will you source the best candidates? Online advertising with the key sites (do some research to find out who is active in which technologies), social networking to maximise reach, constant cultivation of a database so you know which of your candidates re currently placed and who is immediately available, and gaining as much feedback as possible.

You commit that you do not play the numbers game, you will only put forward clients who meet requirements. All candidates will be fully briefed on job role, and will understand the ATOS expectations e.g. length of contract, mobility requirements etc etc.

    Your points...

The market will be the recruitment market - ATOS competitors' recruitment activities will impact on this.

The other agencies will be the other recruitment companies on the preferred supplier list (or who are also pitching at the same time). What will make your service stand out from the others?

I think it's a typo. You'll start with your presentation and their interview questions to you will follow.

Best of luck! Happy to answer any other questions but someone might come along who has more recent experience of the sector.
