Fascinator - do you wear it on your parting line, or other side?

I am undecided what side of my hair to wear my fascinator for a wedding I am going to.
It looks ok both sides, but not sure if there is a done side that it should be worn.
Does anyone know if there is an etiquette for the side of the parting, or the main side of hair?
Many thanks

Just Googled to check as my first thought was 'Whichever side looks best' and I just so happen to always wear them on the right; apparently it's the right side traditionally or covering your parting according to this blog post.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

and ... if everyone wears them to the right, then you will get a clearer line of view to see the bride and groom instead of having wobbly feathers all over the place.0

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. That's fine if you have long hair. I have a short asymmetric style, so there is only one possible way for me to wear a fascinator and that is over the shortest side of my hair which is on my left0 -
I thought fascinators have a "front" and a "back" so its already decided?0
