Looking around for a loan of £2k

Options
Hi everyone I'm new to this site and just signed up,how is everyone.
Basically I'm looking to get a loan because my car has completely broke and I need a new reliable one to get back and forth to work and run my own business. I'm currently in full time employment earning roughly £900-£1000 per month and I also have my own window cleaning business which I do which bring in about £300-400 per month. My car engine has completely gone now its an old car and I need to get a new one which is reliable to get back and forth to my full time job and also to get around doing my window cleaning.
I will say my credit rating is not the best and haven't been able to find a loan as yet but I thought having 2 jobs would help me out a bit? Any thoughts and adobe would greatly be appreciated. Having an old car means bits were breaking all the time and I was using quite regularly so I'm looking to get something a bit newer for about £2000

You say your credit rating is not the best - what is wrong with it? Defaults, late payments, CCJs?

Also, what other credit do you have if any?
  • I have a few defaults but no other credit taken out.

Does that mean everything you have ever signed up for you defaulted on?
  • No I've taken out phone contract a few times and paid them. Just got an ongoing case with bank as they decided to try and hit me with bank charges a while a go when I wasn't even using the account. Any ideas on loans then?

Sorry about that, I typed that when I was on the tablet earlier.
  • Does anyone know any loan companies that will accept with low credit rating?

I was in your position 10 years ago , no mainstream banks would give me time of day so I know how you feel , from reading various threads on here I reckon the only chance will be with companies like ocean finance with mega interest rates .
