Possible Employer wants copy of Driving Licence with Application

Hi I have seen a Job advertised and the company requires a copy of my driving licence emailed with my cv and application

As this is a Driving job they will need to see my licence but as this application is through a third party website not to sure if I am happy with this

I would have no problem having a copy taken at an interview with the company but not happy sending it to an agency

The agency probably has to confirm that anyone they put through meets the requirements of the job, in this case actually being legal on the road

I would not under any circumstances email scans of ID documents with a CV and personal data as many scams have been based on the premise that you need to submit the info to get the job.

At some point, there will be a face to face interview and the driving licence can be produced at that point

Can you go into the agency and let them take a copy for your file?

If the agency has an office in your City/Town pop in with it so they can take copy.

If not Google the company to see how legit the agency is, what reviews it has.
