How to check your credit score?

Hey,

I just got declined for a personal loan and I can't understand why. I need to check my credit score.

Is there a way to check it instantly? Which company do you suggest best for checking my credit? I don't mind paying whatever needs to be payed.

credit scores are pretty meaningless

howeve checking whats on your credit files is very useful so you can see what potential lenders see about you e.g. your existing debts, any missed payments, on the electoral roll etc

there are three credit refence agencies

experian

three is a 30 day free trial but make sure to cancel before it runs out or
go for the £2 statuatory report.

Make sure you select the £2 statutory report for a one off report rather than signing up for monthly info.
