What can I do to make a start?

I posted on here some time ago, I had a DMP with CCCS and through a mistake with my bank missed some payments. I phoned them to reinstate and they told me I earnt too much! I've sat and looked at my budget again and worked out where I went wrong in calculations, so I've reapplied to StepChange as they are now, to restart the DMP. And all the creditors have started charging interest again! Argh...

I have a few questions, I hope someone can answer.

I moved house, which was the initial thing that threw the DMP. None of my creditors will discuss accounts with me now, I've written to them all but they've all replied with 'sorry you need to phone us as your address doesn't match'. Is this call likely to go badly? :/

Second, when these bad credit marks (eventually) disappear from your credit report, from what date is it? I'm assuming from the date the account is cleared? So if it takes say 6 years, then is it 7 years after that?

Finally, what can I do to start improving this situation? I can't do more hours at work, ironically due to financial reasons. I've started a second job with a party plan type company which I hope to try and make some small amounts from. I'm clearing out the house and going to try and sell anything I can (I already do this but with even more motivation now!) what else do people recommend? I've seen the boards on here for NSD, etc, what of these should I start with?
And if you do get a bit extra going in what do you do with it? Make F&F offers, or pay off a debt and have it removed from the DMP? Use it for emergency expenses/treats?

Thanks everyone, I'm determined to see this through this time x
