Then again nw are brutal in complaints. Aim for getting nothing, anything you do get is a bonus. Be prepared for a traumatic spring as they will want proof of everything. Good luck.

To be honest I couldn't believe what the guy was saying. He was like, oh well I got it wrong but hey at least we can still carry on with the further advance. If it was April 1st I would have laughed.

Haha, after a call from the manager at the Nationwide branch we were a little more hopeful as she said she was away to a meeting at head office and was going to try and come up with a solution.

After waiting another 3 days, she calls back and says there's nothing she can do!! What a waste of time.

I will never use Nationwide again!!

Lenders can pick and choose their customers. So I doubt that this will concern them.

PS. I don't work in a bank. However have worked in finance for many years. So can assess a situation reasonably well. People are surprisingly predictable when it comes to money matters and fall into distinct camps. I've never not tried to help anyone either.
