hello all i am very very new to this so please bear with me...my partner has a
morgage at the moment with lloyds tsb (total losers) he pays 340.00 per
month and has never defaulted as far as i know...had morgage for 6/7 yrs
but in the last 1/2 yrs has been turned down for credit for what we can only
think is sum defaults on other things i.e argos card account...my question is
he tried to take sum money out the house to help pay for our wedding but it
didnt go thru...any advice on what he can do to release sum money out of
the house or anything else he can do??
sum extra info..he re-signes a new deal with lloyds tsb (new deal new rate)
in febuary which took which took untill now to sort so was sum problems with
paperwork keep going missing so left him paying new deals rate when tthey
had old deal on comp so looked like we were in arrears which we now
understand has been cleared but not 100% sure on that.
house value 75,000
morgage left to pay 43,000
not sure what else you need?
paid 400 p.w i am a sham. any advice as we also seem to be paying a hell of
alot of intrest on this morgage. thanks.

Ok lots of information there but not enough detail
You need to raise some money on your mortgage to pay for wedding? when is wedding?
Yuo approached some other lenders but were turned down and you dont know why - it could be lending criteria, i.e. your credit status or your earnings or the type of property you live in. I would suggest you get a copy of your credit reports.
You have approached lloyds tsb for a new deal which they have given you (did you not get the extra cash whilst you were at it?) and that has now gone through (are you tied into the deal/early repayment charges?)
And you seem to have been in arrears with stuff - can you be more specific, dates, amounts, and whether they are now cleared or not?I am a Mortgage Adviser
