Cash Genie causing problems

Options
Hi everyone,

Ive been speaking to my next door neighbour this morning and he mentioned some disturbing stuff about cash genie who he'd had a loan with so I thought Id bring it up to warn others.

They "accidently" took double the transactions which means he paid them twice. They took the money on the agreed date and then the same amount the next day.

With some respect to cash genie they have given back the money they took but unfortunately it took his account slightly overdrawn by a few pound(I wasn't sure if this was possible) which means he will probably be charged by his bank at some point.

When he spoke to their customer service rep she foolishly admitted to these problems on their system at the moment, so my recommendation would be to use another company at the moment until these problems are resolved, not that I'd recommend payday loans to anyone myself.

I Dont mean to name and shame any company but I think it would be smart for them to be avoided whilst this is happening.

It would be very very smart to just avoid pay day loans full stop.
