Morning all and thank you to bt1 for starting the thread :)

So today I am home alone and am going to make the most of it by having a good old clean and declutter! Horrid and grey out so no washing today.

    • Clean and declutter upstairs - will take more than today but will make a start!

    • Do ironing that I didn't get done yesterday

Thats enough for now, have a great day everyone!

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning Guys

Its raining cats and dogs here today so Im grateful for the day out fun we had yesterday. Today DS is happy to be home, (for now) I made him pancakes for breakfast at his request, and he's been raiding the dressing up box, and is now watching Cat in the Hat on TV.

Meanwhile I have done all the usual, cleaned up from breakfast, dishwasher emptied, 2nd pot of coffee for me made, washing load on. Checked business banking, a cheque had gone out earlier than I'd hoped but will balance up with tommorows money in.

Personal banking, is a little bit iffy until I can pay in again. Should be possible at the weekend. I could move some money across from the emergency pot if necessary, although we've only £450 in there at the moment so I'd rather not.

Dinner tonight will be defrosted chilli from the freezer.

A mini triumph for me, we have been on a using up toiletries mission for several months now. I have one conditioner that was expensive and eco friendly etc that I bought in 2012! That goes to show how much I condition, but Im half way through that after making a concerted effort. Have also undone and am using a bar of soap that a friends mother gave me in a basket of new born baby treat items (my son is 5 this year) :)) I also made us use up some eco friendly Jaason toothpaste that my OH hates. In fairness it is a bit minging, but it cost about £3 for the tube so I thought, Im not chucking it! As you can tell I went through a bit of a funny phase of trying to buy all the eco friendly things about 2 years ago, but it was so expensive and the deodarants were all a bit awful. Came to my senses :)

Ok, all for now, good luck all.

    Morning all

Checked online banking. My 0% credit card transfer has gone through ok. I only arranged it on Friday so I'm pleased with how quickly it's gone through.

Walked to the station again today, picked up free paper, though I didnt get beyond the Margaret Thatcher pages in the time it took me to get to work. I daresay there was some other news yesterday. I'll catch up with that on the journey home

    Today I will:
Take advantage of free coffee/water at work
    Charge phones at work
Stop at Aldi on the way home and buy only what I need
    Do the ironing
    Meals from stores

    Have a great day all
