Dunelm Mill Teddy Bear Matress Enhancer - anyone got one?

ok, I know it's supposed to be spring, but I have only just discovered the preparing for winter thread and whilst in Dunelm the other week I discovered 'Teddy Bear Matress Enhancer'

http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/teddy-bear-mattress-enhancer-269251

they felt really, really soft and snuggly and it has very good reviews, so I am tempted to get some as trying to cut down on the use of the central heating. I am wondering if anyone has one and if it washes well? just a bit worried that they might loose their fluffyness after being washed several times?

Zippy x

Somebody posted on another thread about these - apparently they are amazing.

I've not heard anything about after washing but if they came up badly, I am sure someone would have posted about it. I think it was the Prep for Winter thread.

I was hoping they would be on sale - half price would be nice :D

    Hi
I bought them for both my teenage sons and they love them, they have been using them for over a year.

I have never heard of the 'Teddy Bear Mattress Enhancer'. What exactly is it?

I have a Dunelm one called Rebound, it's not as furry as the teddy bear but it is spectacularly soft and lovely, and has made all the difference to us being warm and cosy in bed....

I had them for all our beds. They defo make the mattress very soft and cozy. The kids still have them and love them.

I gave my double to my sister as I got a feather down topper which is more luxurious but a lot more expensive. For the price the teddy bear topper is defo a bargain so would defo recommend it.

My daughter has one - it's absolutely lush. Have not yet washed though, so can't be any more help.

It goes on top of the mattress and under the bottom sheet. It's textured like teddy-bear plush, so it would be very warm and snug.

I have a fake sheepskin electric blanket, so assume the feel of it would be similar, so it's not cold to the touch when you slip into bed. If I didn't have my leccy blankie I'd definitely consider getting one of those as for reasons of economy I never have the radiator on in my bedroom
  • Totally agree that these are great. They are double sided so one side is fleeced for winter and the other cooling for summer. They do really make a difference in the cooler months and are lovely and soft to lie on.

I have the matress enhancer and the large teddy bear throw on my bed and it's amazing! Makes the bed so comfy and cozy! :D

Since we got ours we've since got the matress enhancer and throw for my son and the throw for MIL.

I really miss mine when I go to a hotel.:o
