My Debt management plan husband sole mortgage application

Hi I was seeing if anyone knows how a dmp would effect my husbands mortgage application? We have seen a shared ownership house we have fallen in love with have the 10% deposit 15% if needed for a 30% share of a £172k house (£51k mortgage) my husband is the sole earner (self employed) myself and the 2 children are listed as dependants but my husband is going sole on the mortgage as his deposit income etc and we have no financial connections at all no joint anything on experian we are not listed as financial associates and cannot see any mention of me on his previous addresses etc. I was put in a dmp 7 years ago and unfortunately still am. on my credit file all the defaults are gone and now my credit file is clean, my question is is there any chance that his mortgage can be refused because of my dmp? Is there any way of tracing it in solicitors checks etc even though I'm not going on the mortgage? We already have a dip from halifax my husband has no debt 1 default from 3 mobile (genuinely should not be on their mistake and won't remove) for £100 that was nearly 6 years ago and 3 arrears on a mortgage payment that also was with halifax but the mortgage was cleared on the 3rd late payment date also almost 6 years ago. Sorry to waffle xx

The fact that you are not named on the mortgage application may cause suspicion. As its the obvious way of trying to hide something from the lender. Whereas most people would wish to be named. As it protects there personal interests.

Are you financially dependent on your husband?

Thank you for Your reply I'm down as a dependant so yes, it's because it's his deposit and as I do not work I look after the children so if I were to be responsible at any time to pay the bank would have no chance if getting their monthly payments, I don't want to be on the mortgage either to be honest, xx

Oh sorry and the broker said I'd have to sign something to say that I have no finance rights over the property or something like that which I said I'd happily do, x
