My Ex refusal to sign documents for mortgage extension
Manpower
My Partner and I separated a year ago. He left with the view of selling the family home which leaves me with 2 children to re home. He knows I cannot afford to keep the house going on my low wage.
We have a joint mortgage but he refuses to pay anything towards the mortgage other than pay maintenance. The mortgage company agreed to extend the mortgage, however, my ex partner has refused to sign the document. Without his signature I am left with the mortgage payment on a part time job. I am in receipt of, Child Tax Credit, Maintenance and Family Allowance which help towards the bills. I have tried very hard to keep up with the payments but now with all savings gone, I am in a dire situation which will be leading to Mortgage Arrears. I feel helpless about getting help such as any Mortgage schemes as I believe it will require his signature too.
