Peanut butter recipes?

My mum's given me a virtually full jar of peanut butter with a use by of this month.
We won't use it up by then as we already have a jar open, and there's only eldest son who likes it 'neat'.
Any ideas for recipes I could use it in?

Peanut butter ice cream is lovely! I just mix about half a jar with a 500ml tub of ice cream and then put it back in to the freezer to set again. I think you can make it yourself in an ice cream maker but I don't have that recipe sorry. I also like peanut butter cookies - they are just 6oz flour, 3oz butter, 2oz peanut butter and 2 oz sugar - you just mix it all up and bake little balls of it on a baking sheet. Or you can make peanut butter millionaire shortbread - that is just shortbread 6oz flour, 4oz butter 2oz sugar mixed together and baked in a tin and then topped with neat peanut butter and put in fridge to set and then topped with melted chocolate and left to harden again. I can feel my hips expanding as I type....Jane

In a similar vein, does anyone have a recipe to make peanut butter yourself?
I keep looking at the jars and marvelling at all the rubbish they cram in.

i once made peanut butter biscuits but cannot find the recipe (not much help am I lol) I think the peanut butter was melted with butter and mixed through crushed digestive biscuits, pressed into a greaseproof tin and covered with melted chocolate. There may have been another ingredient, syrup perhaps. Sorry to be vague but I do recall they were lovely!!0
