Note of interest

We are currently waiting to see if we've been approved for a shared equity open market scheme but are afraid our dream home is going to get snapped up!!

I've heard of a "note of interest" but is there a set price or does it vary? What do they actually do?

Many thanks!x

I take it this is in Scotland?

As this is more property related and the Scots specialists don't often post on here, it may be worth posting this on HBR&S instead.
