Poundland's cheap air fresheners!!

Poundland currently sell the "Air Wick" stand alone air fresheners (the ones that periodically give out an aroma via a fan), they come in two parts which you have to buy separately...

the first (£1) is the casing on it's own, the other (also £1) is the refill with the scent, so although you do have to spend £2 for the whole air freshener they are worth it as the cheapest I have seen the entire package is £5.99 (that's a saving of over £4!!)

currently I have only seen two different scents available in Poundland, the blue one and an orange one. Both smell quite nice.

Be quick as they never seem to last on the shelves very long, being such a bargain!! :D

I got one of these just before my landlord paid a visit!Shortly after this, my son knocked it over (unbeknownest to me). When I found it (following the overpowering perfume stench) the spillage had stripped the gloss paint off the window sill. Just imagine what is really in those scents, very evil toxic pefumes (that are so strong they strip paint)
I will never ever have those evil things around my children ever again. Not just for the danger they pose if a child gets hold of one, but something that potent cannot be good to inhale.
Sorry if this seems rude, it's not meant to be, I just find it really alarming.

savage vixen I am sorry to hear about the damage the scent did to your landlord's window sill.

however...the use of a variety of air fresheners is infact a very popular way in which many people choose to improve the smell of their homes...

...the very nature of my post was to advise those who do choose to use such air fresheners can save over £4.00 by purchasing them in this manner from Poundland. Afterall, the very point of this website is to share ways in which to save money :p
