Valuation Survey - Will the state of decoration affect the valuation?

We have applied for additional borrowing and the surveyor has contacted us to come and do a valuation survey. We are in the middle of decorating some of the rooms of the house i.e. wall paper has been removed, doors partly stripped of paint etc. It's obvious we are decorating but clearly the property doesn't look its best. Is this likely to have a negative effect on the valuation?
Thank you!

It should not affect the valuation. Decorating etc is seen as comestic and does not fundamentally affect what a property is worth.0

If they are being strict they may value it when your works are complete. My experience is that it will not downvalue, but may affect saleability in a valuation. For a remortgage I would not expect that to be an issueSo many glitches, so little time...0
