If you have sensitive teeth you should stay completely away from whitening or stain removing toothpastes. They work by being abrasive and grind the stain away. However they can also easily wear the enamel away at the same time making your teeth more sensitive.0

Scotland and NI operate different dental systems. I would expect some changes in Scotland soon as the payments to dentists are being reduced and NI are reducing scale and polishing along with alot f other treatments.0

Thank you brook2jack I have learned by my mistakes and after a recent dental visit last week and I am using sensitive tooth paste.0

Our dentist offers a scale and polish at each 6 monthly appointment, he does it himself he doesn't have a hygenist working for him, I just pay a low NHS charge for this.0
