Joint mortgage in BR

Sorry if this has been asked before bit I've searched the boards and can't find the answer. We have a joint mortgage with approx. 40K equity in the house. If I was to go bankrupt and had to sell the house would only my half of the equity go to my creditors or all of it, i.e. my wife's as well? Or would she keep her half? Currently I'm looking at an IVA, but preparing for the worst, and the IVA proposal only states an interest in my half of the equity.

Houses not my thing but to the best of my knowledge the OR would only be interested in getting his hands on your half.
There are others on here who do know about houses so hang around for more advice or have a look at the BCSC website... http://www.bankruptcysupportersclub.co.uk/default.aspx..it might give you more info.0
