Doh! posted this in the wrong thread earlier - wondered why I didn't get a reply
Hope someone can shed some light on this for me
Basically, what I wanted to know was where do I stand with paying back a council tax overpayment? The amount involved was occured before my bankruptcy. Is this debt now part of the bankruptcy or am I still liable for it?
Many thanks

We were overpaid £450 of Council Tax Benefit. In Feb, we get the revised letters and a letter saying we need to pay the £450 +£65 already owing on 2006-07. As this was pre-bankruptcy, it is included. It is a debt that we owed prior to bankruptcy. Also the £700 Housing Benefit overpayment from last year is included, and possibly the Working Tax credit overpayment too!:starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin0
