Really pleased with all I have managed to achieve today and because I didnt leave the house its been a NSD too :rotfl:
Received email from coke zone that I've won a "Marc Jacobs" bag so am extremely pleased, as I still got my points as well as the free draw to win bag (save coke zone points for cinema tickets)
Welcome to all the newbies, hope you'll stick around we are a very friendly bunch (and mad as hatters at times)

Hello All
Late as usual to the party, enjoyed reading about all your days.
Today was not a NSD as I met up with another family for a day out. But I did take a picnic, which saved a lot as it was a national trust place, and one sandwich is normally £3.50, then theres coffee etc. We did buy the kids ice creams later in the day but we'd definately have spent more.
Dinner was chicken thighs, jackets and peas from the stores. I have also defrosted enough chilli for tommorows dinner.
Checked our banking, things are very very tight this month, although I could move some money out of the emergency savings amount we are trying to build, but if we are very careful I suspect we may not need to. So lots more cupboard dinners, no more days out etc.
16 days till OH gets paid, 90% of our bills have gone out. I keep meaning to spend some time amending the dates of payments so they all go out on the 1st but I havent done it yet. Think we have around £200 still to go in small bills. I do think we've been a little slacker recently, but half term makes it harder to avoid spending entirely.
Night All!

I am very happy. On Saturday my spread was £150 more than in the account. Tonight I have gone through the accounts and discovered I had put £150 in the spreadsheet twice. It's not the same as finding it but at least we don't need to raid mil's payment - we are planning to pay her back the fist £1000 this month :TDF as at 30/12/16
