Hi everyone, just wanted to pop on here to say that after posting our SOA's on here a few weeks ago, I went through everything with a fine toothed comb and we've managed to increase our DMP payments from £158 pm to £725! Taking the life of our DMP from 23 years to four years nine months. I'm pleased we've done it but I'm nervous we won't be able to manage it too.

Thanks for all the tips and encouragement I received after posting my SOA. There might be light at the end of the tunnel after all.

X

    Debt-free and Proud!
Well done. That's no small thing that you have accomplished.

Now it may seem like a long time, but it will fly by. I remember when I first shipped up here looking for advice and hoping people could help, a few years back now but I have never regretted it.

Being debt free is like being a teenager again. Take it slow and steady - don't beat yourself up when you make a mistake, and work at it together.

It's an excellent bonding experience ;)
Debt free, moved, got new stuff for the new flat - got everything I wanted and need - now just saving.
