    LSG welcome back

Jenny well done on stopping smoking and welcome back

Mainly putting away done so far and sorted DS3's cricket stuff - lots to buy, need to do that this week.

Going to do HH in the kitchen whilst cooking lunch for DS3, he smelt DS1's cooked lunch (working am and pm shifts) and wants cooked lunch rather than dinner.

  • Hi there - I'm in again this week.

Happy birthday to Bonnie for today - and belated happy birthday wishes to LouLouCake for yesterday. I hope you both have, or had LouLou, a great day and get totally spoilt!

Welcome to the newcomers too, and to those returning flyladies. I don't always follow the lists but get inspired, and reminded, of jobs that need doing.

Well, our weekend guests really enjoyed themselves, especially the meals I produced, so I'm well pleased! And what with the super clean we did before their arrival, and mini clean after their departure, we are still tidy and have nice 'treats' left in the fridge, so have been chilling since last night and playing computer games!!

I'm just off to work now (boo) and would rather stay here! Anyway off I go - which reminds me - good luck to Deckogecko.

Thanks to Dusty for the lists, good wishes all round, and see you all later. R x

3 of 5 drawers emptied, cleaned and oragnised
3 loads of washing done and hung up
cooker hob has been scrubbed and is now gleaming :D

I think that posting on here is def a good thing for me to keep me focused...otherwise I probs would just have sat and faffed all day and got nothing done haha.

Thanks for the thread Dusty I'm in this week :D

Loulou - Belated Happy Birthday for yesterday.

    BB - Happy birthday :D

Deco - good luck for today

DD got back from Di$ney last night with a full suitcase, a full bag & a coat with bulging pockets. I decided it was safer just to wash everything as it all smelt despite her attempts to keep clean/dirty separate. She also needs another lesson in packing suitcases, you'd think after 12 years of travelling she'd have learnt by now :rotfl:Finally chased her to bed at 10pm, and had to go wake her up this morning at 10.30am otherwise she won't sleep tonight! Her bed is stripped and cuddly toys she sleeps with are all going in the wash as they stink. They didn't yesterday, but today _pale_

I spent the weekend dealing with the junk pile from my yard thanks to my dad taking the stuff to the tip yesterday I have an almost clear yard for the first time in YEARS :o My excuse is that every time I had the free time to go and break up the furniture etc it started raining or snowing. It took me 7 hours on Sat to break stuff up/rebag stuff. Then it took my dad 3 trips to the tip to clear the majority of it. Just a couple of bits left I'm going to ask the council to take :)

Today I put up new washing lines - 3 of them :D 2 are temporary as one end is tied to the drainpipe from the gutter, runs the length of the yard to an eye then back again to the drainpipe. Its ideal for light stuff (like underwear & t-shirts ) and I can take it down when I need to :D Heavier stuff is on a proper pulley washing line :D I need it today, as I have about 9 wash loads including bedding & teddybears still to go  Its going to be a long day.

Right now though, I'm going to make myself some lunch. I've just realised I'm hungry :rotfl:
