My elderly parents have asked me to research the best buy in full size Fridge/Freezers.

Have you tried which? They do an online 30 day trial for £2.99. It used to be free but I think you have to pay now. Just use it to see what their "best Buys" are! It really depends what your parents want. Equal fridge/freezer? Bigger fridge than freezer etc etc

Hi guys, my Bosch has just gone ... compresser had it!
I need a free standing fridge freezer ... 60/40 fridge to freezer with the freezer on the bottom if poss ... here are the measurements ... MAX TO AS FOLLOWS:
H = 165CM
W = 65CM
D = 70CM

Why couldnt this have been around 2 weeks ago when my fridge freezer went bang. Ive been waiting 2 weeks for a new one but its being delivered on Thursday, thank god. Ive had to make do with one of those mini mini fridges just for me and ham.

I'm told Samsung arn't worth getting, due to poor after sales service ... parts are v-hard to source in the uk.

Under £600 buy a Miele, well built and last forever (German), my Miele washing machine has anyway.
We bought an expensive Hotpoint fridge freezer, was £100 less than the Miele. Moral of this is......Buy the more expensive one, the Hotpoint broke down after 6 months!0
