Hi guys
Long story short I took payday loan from express, lost my job so instead of paying in full I rolled over the loan. Managed to start my new job last month, just got my first pay and cleared express. I never missed any payments etc just rolled over paying interest and now I have cleared so thank the lord it gone ! never again..
So I log into my Experian account and nearly have a heart attack payday express have got 11 open separate credit agreements all for crazy amounts adding upto well over £1000 I do not get this at all. Its saying payments are upto date etc, but this has destroyed my score and shows I have all these open accounts.
I have emailed the company yesterday so will await response on Monday morning. Now it should update to settled when they update experain. But can anyone advise me why they have got so many as active. Surely just one agreement with an amount should be suffice as its the same company. Im really upset this has happened. And I know people will come on and say what did you expect etc etc. However being in the situation I needed money and hate asking family or friends so please do not judge me.
Any help would be appreciated as im worried about this.

Sounds like a mistake but out of interest, how many times did you roll it over?0

I wouldn't expect them to answer your email, it is a terrible form of communication for things like this.
Give them a call first thing and start getting a complaint letter ready to send in case they don't give a suitable answer.0 -

Hi, just wondering how this one went? My friend also sadly rolled over a couple of payday express payments whilst being ill, he's also got credit agreements showing from them now as a result, anyway to get them removed?0

YEP - they report each and every time though their just following rules, in the end they were a contributor to my going through insolvency successfully at least as they were all over my report I was told well your screwed anyway, (it was for my own good on reflection repeated use of payday loans not good), I'll try and thank them one day as they realistically done me a favour in the end, ...who-ever said there can't be responsible lenders...
You'll be dealing with probably one of the worser PDL's for listening there can be - pick your argument well and keep everything in writing
If it goes to the FOS least one good thing you can prove you've used them by your credit report because they are known to ditch your file and claim never to have heard of you!!! if you get me0 -
Yeah this all sounds very familiar, i lost my job and rolled over payments with payday express that ended up on my credit file and aided in me no being able to get a mortgage when i was re-employed, my credit history was good until this mishap, goes to show it takes very little in the current climate to screw you over.0

I think you're confusing the legitimate payday lender "Payday Express" with the scam site that you are trying to sneak a link to.0 -
I know this is an old thread, but for the benefit of everyone else, if you have a look at this page:
https://www.paydayexpress.co.uk/payday-loans-with-payday-express?source=PEXGL1&gclid=CNjjmfmLqLgCFWXKtAodHmEATA
There's a section on extending payments:
"Can I extend my payment?
Yes, you could be eligible to renew your loan. As a responsible lender Payday Express will only allow you to renew your loan a maximum of three times in a row by paying only the interest. If you renew your loan we will extend your loan, plus interest, to your following payday.
We will only renew your loan once we have express authority from yourself to do so and subject to our affordability and lending criteria. For more information call us on 0800 652 4661¹"
The word RENEW indicates it's a new agreement. It doesn't say 'extend your loan' it says 'RENEW your loan.' This means multiple accounts will appear on your credit reports. What will your verse be?
