Hi, I am an ex soldier. Who is now disabled. I left the Army and went straight into International Truck driving etc...However My injuries (spinal) are now so severe and I suffer with chronic pain. Yet I am so desperate to work at home if I can, using my PC. Could any body please direct me to any very highly recommended web sites or businesses that I may be able to work with ? Lots of thanks in advance, I very much appreciate any help here . I have trawled through so many scam sites its becoming tedious !

There are a couple of legit work from home companies that I know of -
Arise
360crm
Have a google, they may be a good fit for you, tend to be customer service type roles. If you do a search on here, I think there are threads for both of these companies.
Good luck, hope you find something soon.'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

I did some freelance writing from home, but it's very unreliable work. Wage per month can vary between £100 and £1000. It's worth applying if you see any good ads if you're into writing.
Best of luck with the search!0 -

Out of interest what does that convert to per hour?Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
Depends how fast you can do research on different products/services then write up to the standard set by the different editors. It would vary from £5 for an hours work to £15, but I'd say overall with all the jobs I did I probably made 7 or 8 p/h.
But like I said, some weeks, you only get a couple of hours of work.0 -
If you were thinking of writing perhaps the easiest way in to get some practise could be Textbroker. There's a long thread on here quite a lot make a few bob on it.

Staying with the writing theme if you think you could do that, have a read of this. It's a long on-going thread on here about earning a second income from blogging.

If you were looking for a subject to blog about that readers might find interesting ...... how about your time as a soldier; the dangerous times; the funny times; the times it seemed a waste of time sitting around .......Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I am so pleased the OP has put his question here, having been made redundant and also only being able to work part time due to having ME I was going to start looking for temp work at the end of May. I now think I may look into this as well, as well as the other suggestions.
I did look into writing work from home but found most of them to be scams or want me to pay to join.
Martins site has been invaluable to me over the years and it would seem there is a lot more I can learn here about all sorts of subjects.
Good luck to the OP and I would also agree writing about your experiences as a soldier would be a great idea. Some Days are Diamonds Some Days are Stones,Sometimes the hard times won't leave meBSC 162:beer:Banktupt 22 Oct 2008 at 10am!0
