cheers again acg, the LSAP is definitely something i will be discussing with my bank tomorrow to see if they will accept it. And other than mobile phone i have no other contractual monthly payments so hopefully the approx £75 a month that will have to come out of my wage won't effect my affordability too much

I did my first armed forces mortgage for my mate a few weeks back, i had never heard of LSAP until then, i called round about 5-6 lenders and none of them had an issue with it so i think you will be fine, it will just need to fit into the affordability.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
