    I've been rejected by them on credit score and was told to look at Experian.

    Lenders choose their customers there's no right to a given mortgage product.

    The last time I checked my credit rating it was showing "excellent" as the credit score,

    Totally useless piece of data which has no commercial value. Lenders score you themselves.

    That's not the reason their decline.
    Yes, each lender has their own criteria. The point of my original posting was to see if I can complain about the number of searches carried out by Britannia.

    Wasn't aware that there any rules restricting what lenders can and can't do.
