Internship for gap year after completing A Levels

Hi
Would anyone know of any internships in banks, financial firms etc. I can apply for, as I will be taking a gap year.
I am currently in year and will complete my A Levels in June; I am looking to study economics at university.. Initially I wanted to go straight to university, preferably UCL or LSE, but due to a school error with my ucas, I will have to take a gap year. I don't want to waste the year, and it seems to be too late to apply for a lot of internships with firms such as PWC and KPMG as the deadline passed late last year, which makes it difficult for people in situations similar to me.
I would grateful if you could let me know of any such internships you are aware of.
Kind Regards
Amar
