What did the nurse say? I flew the same day I had an embryo transfer. Not sure if that technically counts as being pregnant though :D

I'm going to be flying when I'm about 31 weeks pregnant in June.

I'm led to believe it's fine as long as your pregnancy is uncomplicated, and I will be speaking to the midwife about it at my next visit.

I flew before I knew I was pregnant and after I found out as I found out whilst we were away. I don't think there's anything wrong with it obviously apart from if you're very late in pregnancy. I don't think there's any evidence to say there's any harm. I mean you're just sat in a chair!

The flying part doesn't scare me it's more what if something went wrong when I was on holiday.

My friend who works for an airline & has lots of work colleagues who have become pregnant and once they tell their work they are grounded and sent to work in the office so some delay telling for as long as they can. But it's not because it causes problems they're just worried IF something went wrong they could be sued etc

So why not check the FAQs of the airline, this link takes you to what BA have to say on the subject

I flew up until the day that the airline wouldn't permit me to fly as my job involved working in France and Germany each week as well as the UK. Never had a problem and my children are healthy.

I am due to fly at 32 weeks for a family wedding, only a few people are going and was booked before I found out I was Pregnant!!!

Checked with the airline... They say they won't let you fly after 36 weeks.
At this point in time I am going, no complications, so no reason not to go!!!

I flew at around 8 weeks pregnant - I was absolutely fine except I had to spend a lot of the flight standing in the crew food prep area as they were serving breakfast with eggs in the cabin, and the smell made me retch - a lot :D.
