Council Tax overpayments

Hi,

I was hoping someone would know where I stand with paying back a council tax overpayment. The amount involved was occured before my bankruptcy. Is this debt now part of the bankruptcy or am I still liable for it?

Many thanks

Council tax is a priority debt and should always be paid before non-priority debts (cc's, loans etc). However, I am not sure what happens when you are BR. Perhaps you could try posting in the BR link in debt free wannabee as they might be able to help.
