Asking on behalf of a friend, I know you can get them online at amazon but can you buy them instore anyway ??

Why not just go for a free blood test at a Lloyds pharmacy. They give a lot more info than a blood test.0

You should be able to buy urine dipsticks from the chemist. They will show up traces of glucose and/or ketones which can be an indicator of diabetes
Boots should have them x0
