I picked my order up from my local Waitrose yesterday - less than 24 hours after ordering it! I am very pleased with it too. The gift box is nice and sturdy and the mug is made of a nice quality china.

A great gift which look much more expensive than the £2.50 paid.

Received my 2 mugs today and one of them isn't glazed properly - the handle is rough and it has patches all over it. Can't fault customer services though - sending a new mug out to home address (we had the first ones sent to store). Lovely mugs and look very impressive with the box!
Rang Sunday late afternoon and received my replacement mug today! If only all stores were so efficient.

Thanks OP and newkid.. I ordered 2 dad mugs and a mum one for me, to pick up at a Waitrose store a few miles away but was in Milton Keynes today and spotted them in John Lewis by the tills in the kitchen / gifts dept so picked them up there instead to save me a journey.

The mugs are great and the boxes are fab and could easily be reused. They could easily pass for a £10 gift. There were plenty in this store but I got the impression they had just been put out as a couple of members of staff were commenting on how lovely they were and I didn't see them when I was in there on Saturday, so they may not last long.
