daniel silverman on behalf of casc fitness?

i have received a number of calls and texts from someone claiming to be from daniel silverman, representing casc fitness- i see that company is discussed here. what i cannot find, nor elsewhere on the web is what casc fitness is, does anyone know? perhaps a false company name trying to get me to admit the debt?

Advice on things like this is to ignore, they will write to you if they think you owe them something.

Ignore it is very good advice. A quick google shows casc fitness to be based in Milton Keynes. Daniel Silverman are a standard Debt Collection Agency.

It looks like a gym chain if you google it - although they don't have a website of their own, it appears.

Have you abandoned a gym membership somewhere?
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'

only a virgin active about 3 years ago, but wouldnt they be using the name virgin active? i did recently leave a gym but there was no rolling contract with them and i gave proper notice and also they confirmed it had been cancelled. i live in surrey and have never been to milton keynes which makes me even more suspicious. As ive moved recently no one has my address so they wouldnt know where to write to. i feel like this is either a false claim- the gym "fitness4less" in epsom perhaps, because this was the gym i left recently but unlikely, they have the wrong person, or could it be that virginactive are sneakily calling themselves something else to chase their debters?

thanks for everyones responses so far, great board!

    Hi there,

They could have sold the debt from Virgin onto a DCA, which would explain why a google of Daniel Silverman brings up a Debt Collection Agency. No idea about the casc fitness bit though...
