p and o ferries

I was dissapointed when i saw this thread as i had booked a Ferry for a few days in France a couple of days ago. I got Dover-Calais £60 return plus £2 for paying with card.

I just checked how much cheaper it would have been with this code at the same dates and times and it actually works out more expensive for me at £64 return plus the £2.

Scrap that above i checked without the code and it would have saved me about £13 if i had booked today. But i booked a few days ago and got it for £30 each way now one of the Ferries i am travelling on is £45 so it does pay to be early:rotfl:

Hi thanks for the link looks good. if you booked the day return for this fare and you wasn't on the outward journey would you still be able to use the inward journey ferry.
I hve booked a return trip already to france but the return time is really early in the morning and thought at these prices i could book another sailing with this voucher. but i wouldn't be on the sailing on the morning of the ticket. does this matter or do they check?

In there terms and conditions it does state that any discount trips can be charged in full if the journeys are not completed. In the past I have arrived on the return trip at different times to the ticket time and sometimes they charge sometimes they did not.....hope that helps. Mrs Happy

looking to go to calais for 1 night, what are the cheapest days to go this month? I've had a look for going out 18th Aug returning 19th for 3 adults and 4 children its coming up for £110 return, however If i go and come back on the same day its £30!

Thanks to savinglikemad for the code. It didn't work on every sailing (had to go & come back about an hour later than I wanted) but I double checked the with/ without code prices.

So I've just saved £70 on a weeks return to France using the code. Car, bike trailer, 5 people, £80 return!
