CCJ's and dealing with them

Hi there,

I'm trying to clear my existing debts, which include a number of CCJ's with the help of my loving parents. I've written to one company, with whom I have a CCJ, and they have agreed to accept a payment of full and final settlement.

I've read through Martin's advice on debt and credit reference agencies and he recommends the following:-

If you offer them a settlement (not necessarily even the full amount) you can include as a condition of final settlement that the CCJ should be wiped.

Is this possible to do and how would I go about this in writing? I have until the 22nd May to send my money over but I want to make sure that I do this correctly for the best possible outcome. Any suggestions?

Many thanks for reading.
