I know this is an old thread, but I would honestly like to know, I've been duped with these 'participate in research' sites before and I don't want to be handing out the kind of sensitive data they always ask for if it's not legit, any one tried it?

To update, I'm with them and had loads of invitations, filled out loads for forms but don't seem to be picked for anything : /

They haven't asked me to pay for anything so that's something

What sort of research is it?

It's market research, so focus groups where you're paid for discussions and opinions, but no luck so far and I they don't seem to be known at all.
