Wanna: Good Digital Camera under £50

Title says it all really. I'm going to Cuba 1st June and want to use a camera instead of my phone-have a k800i which is great for pics, but if I were to lose it  or damage it I'd have to kill myself!

So I need a really good camera, under £50. Don't really know much about cameras and havn't got time to start searching t'internet.

All your help would very welcome
Cheers

I like Fuji cameras and have had 3 over the years. Never had one let me down, and as I've wanted to upgrade, I've given the older ones to my kids who're still happily using them.

There's a website where you can buy refurbished Fuji's:-

Hope you find something suitable :)

In the most recent which? report their cheapest best buy was £100 - so maybe you might have to spend a little bit more. I have recently come back from a holiday where I managed to put a bottle of water in my handbag without the top on properly and ruined my mobi and digi camera - I just claimed on my travel insurance. Could you not just take it with you and if the worst happens at least you are covered.

I took disposables away with me whilst waiting for my money to come through from travel insurance and it was fun doing it the old fashioned way - picking up your photo's not knowing what you are gonna get! Yay x

I bought a Cannon Pwershot A430 from ASDA for £40 two weeks ago - they are normally £80+ so it was a very good deal. It was posted on Grabbit thread, received some good comments from my post asking about this.

I like Cannon, had my previous one for 15 years and till fab, but just wanted a digital camara but not willing to pay the earth. Enjoy your trip.
