Hi all, I hope everyone is well. I need some advice please (this may just be a misunderstanding on my bosses part but I need some advice anyway just incase!) Yesterday, I had a half day's holiday in the morning due to attending an interview (which my boss knew about). I have IBS and I had a flare up of my IBS on Saturday…

I'd wish her luck with that. Unsurprisingly doctors are quite aware of their duty to maintain patient confidentiality.

The most she will get is a confirmation that you attended an appointment, and quite possibly she won't even get that. In no way is your doctor going to start giving away your personal medical information to a third party.
