Well Done Everyone

I want everyone to say "Well done" to themselves.
Since my LBM I have probably had more days where I have beaten myself up over not being able to pay off my debt sooner, a momentary overspend, treating myself to something small, etc etc. But it's easy to think that once we've had our LBM we suddenly become a fully fledged DFW with all the skills and tricks that come with it.
It DOESN'T all happen over night, these new skills have to be learned. Suddenly one day you will "get" menu planning and wonder what took you so long , one day you will "get" putting the pennies somewhere safe, and the joy in counting them up and realising "WOW I saved £xx without even noticing", one day you will "get" going round the supermarket, not picking stuff up by habit, but looking at your list ONLY getting those items, and being smug at the till when the bill comes in under budget and 50% lower than you used to spend before your LBM.
I am finding that all these skills are slowly slipping into place and becoming a habit and even if it means just one month knocked off my DFD then thats got to be good hasn't it. I've still got a hell of a long way to go but today I feel a little bit smug when I think of the things I am now doing better and chepaer.
You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *

Becomes as automatic as overspending used to be doesn't it. I'm still even after a year still retraining, had a few hiccups but making a little progress.

    Here Here.

I think sometimes we should all take time out and give ourselves a pat on the back for what we have achieved

Sometimes the negative seems to be at the front of our mind but we should replace it with good positive vibes.

    Feel better already.
