Credit Checks & Disclosure Scotland?

Hello,
I have a second interview on Thursday, I'm told they really like me and i shouldn't be nervous (i never usually get nervous, it was a big thing for the the first interview, it's a career step to change all career steps, for me).
Anyhow, they need to perform two checks, a credit check, and a disclosure Scotland.
I'm not entirely sure what a disclosure Scotland is, but from a little research, it looks like some form of criminal record check. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
I've been honest and told them that i have a couple of defaults on my credit record from a couple years back when i was last made redundant. I was earning a very low wage, and couldn't keep up with some of my bills, living costs took priority than other things.
One is on my mobile phone, i defaulted that two months running. Another was a catalogue purchase, mobile phone bill was settled, and i've not missed a payment for 2 years, and the catalogue bill was settled very quickly, way over the payments agreed from when i was unemployed, as I'd found work. I've been honest with them with this, and openly told them I'm worried about it affecting my application.
My other problem is i've been moving around a lot recently, i live in house shares in an attempt to save money, however i've been unlucky and every time i've started saving, some circumstance out of my control has ended up me paying to move again. Due to me moving, I'm also not on the electoral register.
My questions are;
What is a Disclosure Scotland, in short?
What will the Credit Check disclose exactly? My score which, according to checkmyfile.com, shows that employers would see a score of 732 across all credit agencies.
However my lenders score is lower between 570 and 630.
Should i be worried i might get turned down for this job if they offer me then perform the checks?
Thanks in advance.

From Disclosure Scotland website:
A Disclosure is a document containing impartial and confidential criminal history information held by the police and government departments which can be used by employers to make safer recruitment decisions.
Disclosure information could include:
Details of criminal records
Information about a persons inclusion on children's or adults' lists
Other relevant information held by a local police force or Government Body
Or state that there is no information
The information included on the document will depend on the type of disclosure applied for..

You will need your address history for the last 5 years with dates (at least know the year even if you don't know the exact date).
Don't know about the credit checks sorry.0 -
As for the credit scores - the numbers are completely irrelevant and you need to stop looking at them. What is important is your credit history, your defaults etc. The company will do a credit check, look at the history and make up their mind from there. They have no interaction with the made-up credit score number.
For Disclosure Scotland, I've had a few done and it's always been fine. It's basically a criminal record check. At one point I had 15 addresses over a 2 year period, so I wouldn't worry about having lots of addresses, as long as you know roughly the months you were there you'll be fine.
Good luck!0 -
Thanks both;
I take it an employer can see my entire history then? If so then it's looking quite bleak as i've taken out a number of pay day loans over the last few years due to emergencies and the interest crippling me, sorta stuck in a loop as it were. I've never defaulted on them, but i can see how this would make me seem irresponsible.Professional Data Monkey

I just checked, an enhanced credit check would show my last 12 months credit types, electoral roll status, and any CCJs etc (of which i have none).
Aside from the payday loans, there's nothing else really that would go against me. I'll just have to live in hope.Professional Data Monkey
