Hi
I placed an order for a digital camera which I received last week.
Yesterday I received another identical camera from the same company and was charged for it as well, even though I didn't order it twice.
The camera cost £150, so I've now been charged £300 when I should have only been charged £150 for only one.
Are there any solicitors out there that know what my legal rights are regarding their mistake.
Am I entitled to any compensation, as they have placed this order without my permission?
Thanks in Advance

Just phone the company explain the situation and let them retrieve the camera and give you a refund. Prob just a Computer glitch thats put it through twice. Be a waste of time trying to get compensation as i dont think they'd even consider it for a minute0

I've Just had another Parcel today which is another Camera (3 Cameras when I only ordered 1)
Which means I''ve been charged £300 more then I should have done
Do I have any rights now?0 -

Why not get advice from your bank or the banking ombudsman-hope someone comes along who can knows the law on this.0 -

You should definitely get your money back and if their mistake has meant you are charged, then legally I don't think they have to compensate you for the charges, but morally they definitely should do so.0 -
It amuses me, that when the company make a mistake, your first thought is compensation, rather than just contacting the company and sorting it out.
Seems everyone wants compensation for everything.
Contact them first, if they refused to refund etc (including any bank chanrges assuming you can provide proof of bank charges) let us know and what company it is and you might get a more supportive response.Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -
You could also talk to your bank and see if they'll waive the charges, given that it's not your error.0

I am wondering why you accepted the 2nd delivery, were you hoping that they sent another and you could keep it for free? and why accept delivery of the 3rd? surely you had to sign to accept them!!!0
