It is unlockable to any network by paying for an unlock at a market stall etc0 -
thanks - might be worth my while grabbing one for my daughter then - who is the only kid in her yr 6 class that doesn't have one now! and frequently reminds me of the fact:rolleyes:

Lol! That reminds me of my daughter a couple of years ago. Although she was the second or third oldest in the class, she was the last to get a mobile.:D0 -
Anyone know, if it is a top up voucher or credit on the sim card?0

I've got a Siemens A55 in near pristine condition locked to T-Mobile which you are more than welcome to have for your kiddiewinkle if you want it. It's not the most modern, but it works and does the job just dandy and it was hardly used.
I can get a t-mobile / virgin sim card to stick in it too if you want. T-mobile do texts from 3p depending on the PAYG package you go for.
Sorry not sure if this can be unlocked or how much though as we just stuck to t-mobile as that's what my contract phone was at the time and it was cheaper to do this.
PM me if you would like it.0 -

Not the 2310, it is an ASIC 11 phone and can't be done by the free unlockers.0 -
Tbh this is far better and in the same price bracket:
http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/show/handset/alcatel_ot-e801/detail/pay_as_you_go
This usually comes as with the one i just got a 512mb micro sd card, ok the headphones you have to use as it uses the same socket as the charger
It does mp3 although it does not like folders, dump music files and choose random or skip, still what do you want at this price? The 512mb card will give you a good 5 albums or so depending on quality?
But other than that its a standard phone no wap, no updating ringtones but in its worth its slightly smaller and lighter than a sony erricson k750i which is a small and light phone by anyones standards.
It comes with all leads and charges via a usb lead on the computer if you dont have a spare socket for the charger.
All in all this rips the kecks of this offer and looks classy to boot, fill yer boots with french technology
I have one for work and it is basic by todays standards but most modern in looks and has 3 day standing time without charge. You need to google it to appreciate it looks far better than the cost.0 -

I agree, you can also expand the memory, so doubles up as a decent mp3 player, this phone feels nice in your hand, and at that price (I paid £14.99) its a good dealSam:happylove0
