How many searchs?should I leave now?

Hi (hopefully a broker)
Ok update went for casual chat about chances of remortgage now reports pretty clean, broker asked if i would allow him to try and get aip based on credit reports I was hoping intrest only based on 50% equity.
anyway came back to me abbey have given us a aip, but he hadnt mentioned bankruptcy, I knew for certain abbey wouldnt consider so I WOULDNT take any further , knowing it would be fraud,
Horrible experiance to be honest, anyway so then I think I would try leeds direct, and the lady was great they did search all good but (i know scores are irrelevent ) but leeds underwriter basically said the bankrupcty would have to be from discharge date not actual date which was jan2007.
She suggested maybe coming back in september (discharge aug 07)

What do I do now ?do I leave for a while 2 searchs , dont want to damage anymore but concerned about sorting this out .
Should I try another broker ?
Thanks for any advice

You are likely to need a broker and a decent one.

There are lenders that will consider your circumstances subject to the details and good recent account conduct.

    All the best

I am worried after seeing this post.

I aways thought they done the 6 years clear from the bankruptcy date and not the discharge date?

My partner is selling his house and my bankruptcy comes off my files this June. Starting to worry he will sell his house and then we will be unable to get a mortgage.

Been told by Yorskshire Building Society you need it clear at least 36 months so hoping they may lend to us.

If asked the question then you'll need to disclose the facts. Whether the data is held on your credit record or not. Failure to declare correct information at the outset on the application will result in an immediate decline.

Reference the discharge date, I assumed Discharge was from bankruptcy date so It seems quite a few lenders go from actual discharge date, so best to clarify first instead of having searches done that are a waste of time, in this case the girl should of checked her companys lending criteria properly and we could of waited (This was the manager)
