for those of you aware of the hilsborough tradgedy please take two minutes of your time and sign this downing street petition

it is only open for tonight and the families of the dead people really need to have an end to this once and for all. those responsible need to stand up and take what they should have had coming 18 years ago.

I imagine the thread will be removed soon because it isn't actually a freebie, but hope it will be moved instead so we can discuss this.

In my opinion... really, what would be the point? it brings back bad memories that would rather be forgotten. Plus it's a huge waste of public money, there are a lot more needy causes than this. Like all the Dianna inquests, seriously... what does it gain?

Now I wasn't personally affected by the Hilsbrough so I guess there is the possibility I would feel different if I was, I would like to hope that I wouldn't though because it still wouldn't change anything.

On a seperate note, these petitions to the goverment, has any of them actually achieved anything yet? Other than a crappy reply from Tony (supposably) for that speed camera one I think it was? Corrent me if I am wrong.

EDIT: Or was it the road charging thing?

It could be a freebie because the fight for justice gets your backing for free but as the rules state it's in the wrong place

but it should be moved to the discussion area.

I will never forget hillsborough because every community in Liverpool and some surrounding area lost friends and family when it could have been stopped, familys are still searching for answers the same as the familys of people who go missing or are murdered it's the only way you can let go if you know the truth and the people to blame admit they did wrong.
